In the Parable of the Lost Sheep, we find the Good Shepherd rejoicing when He finds His lost sheep, putting it on His shoulders to bring it home. This analogy was my inspiration for this painting. I see myself on those shoulders, as Christ carries me through life. I was lost, and now I am found by the Good Shepherd who loves me. I pray that you will see yourself on those strong shoulders. - MW
