Thunderstorms can be unpredictable. Sometimes they’ll block an aircraft’s way with curtains of lightning. Other times, you can fly through holes in the storm wall and into a strange, beautiful cloud cathedral. Here, for “into the Throne Room of God,” I’ve painted an F-15 in the quiet, awesome area surrounded by the vast power of thunderstorms. This is God’s throne room – where, occasionally, fighter pilots and artists pay their respects. - WP
