All of us who loved and played baseball knew Slugger. We all wished we were Slugger. Most of us felt the crack of the bat as we got a hit, but few of us watched the ball sail over the fence for a home run. We all dreamed about it, though. I think dreaming about what it would be like was enough sometimes. Dreams are what baseball is all about and why it is so special to so many. - JD
