This relaxed, impressionist astronaut image is one of my favorites. I felt just like this so many times on the moon — even though I didn’t have time to stop and “assume the position.” I think it takes a certain attitude of cockiness to be an astronaut, and it’s hard to show those emotions when I am behind the gold visors. - AB
