Welcome to one of the best and most comprehensive art sites in the world! A real encyclopedia of today’s world of fine art priced for the contemporary art buyer. We now have a brand new Gift Certificate feature along with fabulous search capabilities which will make shopping for art a breeze. You can even store your favorites for your convenience or create a "gift registry" for the convenience of your friends and family. All this, plus a FAQ “art learning center” with information about art and framing...complete with an easy-to-use glossary.

Those of you who are used to ordering over the web will enjoy testing out our many features. If you are new to web browsing and buying, we are prepared to help you get real comfortable with our site. • To do a quick search, use the search box in the upper right of each page. Enter the artist’s name or title that you seek - or “bear” if you’re looking for an image of a bear. Note that ALL the bears may not come up in a quick search. Only the pieces that have the characters b-e-a-r somewhere in the title, artist’s name or descriptions will show.

• To see our POLAR bears, use the Subjects link in the left navigation. Start by clicking “Wildlife,” then “Bears,” then “polar bears.”

• For a more detailed search, click the Search button in the upper right of each page. It will take you to the Search page where you can, for example, ask to see all the Batemans in whatever price range you wish.

Here you have many other options as well. Using the check box for Orientation, you may search for horizontal, vertical or square art by typing in the full word, (horizontal, vertical or square) or just using h, v, or s respectively. You can combine this search by also specifying a Price range and pull all horizontal pieces costing between $100 and $500. Then, you can sort them by price (highest to lowest or lowest to highest).

The little "per page" box just above the Search button on this page allows you to view 20, 50 or all the results of your search on the current page without necessitating paging through multiple pages of results.

• To Search by Category: My favorite way to search, however, is using the left navigation bar - right under the Search Our Products label. Clicking on the ART category will bring you to our largest category and display all the sub-categories in the left navigation and in a drop down box in the center panel. From these you can narrow your search to find all the Posters, for instance. (Note: This is one way to find all our original art, but the easiest way to find those is simply clicking the Original Art link in the header of all the pages.)

The Category search works especially well for the ARTISTS category which is quite large. Clicking ARTISTS brings you to our Artists Directory, displaying their names in the left nav bar, in the center panel and in the drop down box at the top of the center panel. I like to use the drop down box because I think its quicker to scroll than the whole page. Once you choose an artist, keep looking for that drop down box - its the best thing about searching categories because when you see it, you'll have found the fastest way to find a given artist's sub-categories - originals, books or figurines.

Now, we know there may still be bugs and omissions. And we are dedicated to fixing them all. But with more than 12,000 works of art already listed and more being added each day along with thousands of images...and miles of data, it will take us time. So we ask your patience....and your assistance. By the way, you may occasionally see strange characters in some descriptions. We are aware of them and are working diligently to remove them. (No, they are not secret codes for our alien visitors!)
