Pricing:
"Issue price" refers to the price established by the publisher or artist when the item is released. We maintain that price as long as possible. Once the item is "sold out" and only available thru "secondary" or "resale" sources, pricing can vary day by day or hour by hour as resales occur. In such instances, the prices you see on our website may represent the last of those items sold as opposed to today's price. That is why we often tell you to "email" for pricing. And that is why prices often change without notice. For your convenience, items are priced without frames unless otherwise indicated.

In compliance with Federal Copyright Laws, the art work you are purchasing is legally yours, yet the artist retains the copyright in and to the image, including all reproduction rights.
Relative to original art, you may be requested by the artist to lend him/her the artwork for a period of time so that it may be photographed under the direction of the artist. Or the work may be requested for use in a museum exhibition. In all such instances, shipping and insurance will be handled by the artist or by Gallery One on behalf of the artist.
Such exposure is extremely desireable as it usually enhances the value of the art. So that we may locate original art if needed, we ask that you notify Gallery One should you relocate or transfer the ownership of the art that you are purchasing from Gallery One.

Purchase A Masterwork in Miniature |
Once you have browsed MASTERWORKS IN MINIATURE in person or via the Internet, you can file intent(s)-to-purchase in person; by phone (440.255.1200, toll-free 800.621.1141); fax (440.255.9283); U.S. Mail (Gallery One, 7003 Center Street, Mentor OH 44060 USA), email (art@galleryone.com) or through our website. If filing on-line, click the Submit Intent to Purchase button on the item's detail page and add the Intent(s) to your cart. Remember, you are only obligated to purchase one item if drawn unless you have instructed us to the contrary. If you are drawn for more than one item (and we do not have specific instructions from you), we will contact you for further instructions.
When you file an intent-to-purchase form for a particular Masterwork, your intent is placed in a box with others who desire the same painting or sculpture. On Saturday, March 20 at 5 p.m., a public drawing will be held for each work of art and a winning name will be drawn from each box. Duplicate intent-to-purchase forms (filed by the same person) for any one item will be removed prior to the drawing.
You may submit as many intent to purchase forms as you wish, but each must be guaranteed by your credit card....or by a personal check issued to Gallery One. Such guarantees must be received prior to the time of the drawing for purchase rights. Note that your credit card will not be “run thru” nor will your check be deposited unless you are drawn for applicable purchase rights. (If you are guaranteeing your intents by check(s), you must submit a separate check for each intent that you file.) Shipping charges, if applicable, will be calculated at time of shipping and automatically charged to your credit card. Taxes, duties and related fees for "out of USA" delivery are solely the responsibility of purchaser. If paid by Gallery One, such are automatically reimbursed to Gallery One by a charge to buyer’s credit card.
MASTERWORK INTENTS MAY NOT BE GUARANTEED THRU PAYPAL!
Although attendance at the drawing for purchase rights is not mandatory, for many collectors it has become a tradition. A special guest is usually on hand to pull the winning names and wine and cheese are served. Winners who do not attend the drawing will be contacted the following week and may pick up their purchases at Gallery One. Purchases can be shipped for a nominal fee. (Masterworks paintings include deluxe framing, if required.)
SHOW STRATEGY! If you choose to submit your name for just one masterpiece - and your name is not selected - you will likely go away disappointed. However, if you submit your name for more than one item, your odds of being selected are tremendously increased. If your name is pulled more than once, your only obligation is to purchase one item...unless, of course, you elect to purchase multiples. Any item passed on is redrawn until each MASTERWORKS IN MINIATURE finds its perfect home. Thus depending on your luck the day of the drawing, you could have the option of taking just one...perhaps two...or maybe more works of art.
