ARNOLD ALANIZ - LIMITED EDITIONS

At Twilight Time depicts a very special place near my summer home in an area of northern Wisconsin known as Door County, a tiny peninsula of rocky coasts and rolling meadows surrounded by Lake Michigan.  The fleeting rainbow hues of early evening made me stop and admire this majestic waning of another day. In this piece, I want to share with the viewer that special, quiet moment of reflection and appreciation of the beautiful and tranquil natural world around us. - A. A.

This work of art by artist Arnold Alaniz is serene, almost abstract with its soft gentle treatment of light and its subtle gradation of colors.

The inspiration for Alaniz's work comes from places he's seen and from his own imaginative mind; "my own little world that I take ideas from and add to."

I think a landscape has universal appeal, regardless of what it is and where it is located. I think we can all look at a lovely seascape or a lush jungle and appreciate it. We know that place exists somewhere, maybe not where we live or a place we are used to seeing - but maybe that's why it's interesting. - A. A.
